Hartelijke ontvangst in een zeer mooi, ruim appartement. Prachtige ruime tuin en zwembad. Heerlijk overdekt terras. Keukenbenodigdheden weliswaar beperkt.
Het beantwoorde aan onze verwachtingen. Supere ontvangst, ruime kamers, iedere kamer een aparte badkamer, ingerichte keuken, goed onderhouden en ruim zwembad, heel grote mooie tuin, enz... Met één woord: super!!!
Twee prachtige appartementen op een paradijselijk plekje in een schitterende omgeving. Bijzonder aardige eigenaar. Helaas ook drie minpuntjes:
- de onophoudelijke discomuziek van de nabijgelegen kindervakantieboerderij,
- de trage, zwakke en instabiele wifi waarvoor bovendien apart moet worden betaald. Betalen voor wifi kan echt niet meer anno 2014,
- de vondst van een kakkerlak, bij het pakken van de koffers. Als je er één vindt, is het vrijwel zeker dat er veel meer zitten en die wil je niet mee naar huis nemen!
Die Gastgeber waren ausserordentlich nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns mit unserer Hündin sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft. In der Anlage sind nur 2 Ferienwohnungen untergebracht, die zudem in unterschiedliche Richtungen erschlossen sind. Dadurch war jederzeit die Privatsphäre gewahrt und es war angenehm ruhig. Wir waren nur zu zweit, die beiden anderen Zimmer und Bäder haben wir gar nicht genutzt. Das Haus liegt auf ca. 700 m Höhe. Dadurch ist es ca. 5 Grad kühler als im Flachland, was bei niedrigen Temperaturen ein Nachteil sein kann.
We spent an early spring week in The Poggio. After some minor map-reading difficulties in the narrow Chianti roads, we managed to find the house in the peaceful village of Lucolena/Torsoli. I highly recommend a GPS. The stone house is situated on a hill and the view is beautiful. The flat was spacious and comfortable. The owners are very helpful and pleasant.
Il Poggio is a good base for visiting the vineyards and little rural towns in the Chianti Classico and also more touristic places, such as Florence and Siena.
Belle et vaste propriété devisée en trois logements avec une magnifique piscine à débordement donnant sur la vallée. Le logement inférieur est occupé par le propriétaire, qui recoit famille et ouvriers dès l'aube. Le grand logement donnant sur le jardin et la piscine est le plus convivial, ayant une vue et une terrasse couverte exploitable. L'autre logement est à l'arrière, donnant sur le parking plein sud et les proprios. Ces derniers sont très sympathiques et toujours prêts à aider. Il est regrettable toutefois de voir débarquer tout les jours des inconnus qui viennent bronzer, maçonner ou forer près de la piscine alors qu'on cherchait juste un peu de quiétude...
